Presenters

JD Allen is the author of the Shamus Award–nominated Sin City Investigations series. She holds a degree in forensic anthropology with a minor in creative writing from the Ohio State University. JD has led the Florida MWA chapter, the North Carolina SinC chapter, and served as chair of both the Bouchercon National Board and co-chair of SleuthFest 2025.

Tammy Euliano’s writing is inspired by her day job as a physician, researcher and educator at University of Florida. She’s received numerous teaching awards, ~100,000 views of her YouTube teaching videos, and was featured in a calendar of women inventors (available wherever you buy your out-of-date planners). She won a 2025 Derringer award for “The Heart of Darkness.” She writes the Kate Downey medical thriller series including Fatal Intent and Misfire.
